Jump on board Manly’s new, low-cost sightseeing bus tour that will take you to some of our most attractive locations. The ‘Hop Skip & Jump’ bus sightseeing tour goes for 75 minutes and is fantastic for visitors of all ages. The tour takes you to five local Manly beaches including beautiful Shelly Beach and Queenscliff Beach. The bus also winds up the hill for passengers to take in the spectacular views from North Head, which sits at the gateway to the beautiful Sydney Harbour.

From mid May through to November, Whalewatching Tours give you the perfect opportunity to glimpse these majestic ocean giants as they pass by the coast. Various vessel types (high speed, cruise or sail) are available for a range of tours. Based at Manly Wharf and only minutes away from popular whalewatching areas, Manly Whalewatching provides the ultimate location to embark on a Whale Watching Adventure. North Head Sanctuary is now open to the public. Come for a bush walk and visit the Gatehouse Visitor Centre at the former School of Artillery. Bring the kids for free craft activities in the Discovery Room. Pick up a brochure for a self-guided tour of the sanctuary to discover natural heathland, historic military remnants and stunning views. Open 10am to 4pm every day, parking is available. Oceanworld, Manly’s premier attraction, offers fun for kids of all ages. See the wonders of the deep with sharks, giant stingrays, sea turtles and a myriad of marine life. Freedom on the water, regardless of ability

The principal aim of Sailability is to facilitate sailing for people with disabilities. They sail every second Saturday and one Wednesday a month from Manly Yacht Club, East Esplanade and use the expanses of Manly Cove and North Harbour, part of magnificent Sydney Harbour. Visitors are most welcome, bookings are essential.

Skater HQ has skate group lessons for children and adults on Saturdays and Sundays, times are: Kids Skateboarding 9.30am, Kids Inline 10.30am and Adults Inline 11.30am. Bring your own gear or hire everything you need. Private lessons are also available. Bookings are essential.

Try the thrilling experience of parasailing over Sydney Harbour. Suitable for all ages, no experience necessary. Children from the age of 10 can fly with a guardian. After you’re winched out of the boat, you’ll feel like you’re flying, similar to paragliding and hot air ballooning, but with the optional bonus of getting wet, and you still have the safety of being attached to the boat.
