Taste of Manly – Food, Wine and Sustainability Festival

Come and join in the fun at one of Manly’s most famous festivals, proudly hosted by Manly Council. Taste of Manly will showcase Manly’s landmark restaurants and a selection of wineries. You can also learn about sustainable living by visiting exhibits covering a range of issues from organic food and wine to sustainable building.

CJ ‘SNOWY’ McAlister Winter Surfing Festival

The ‘SNOWY’ McAlister sees some of the best competitors in the Longboarding world compete in the event, attracting over 200 national and international competitors. The marque log event will allow surfers to broadcast their traditional smooth and free flowing manoeuvres. In 2013 the Log event will boast an $20,000 prize pool with all divisions receiving giveaways.

Bike Life Festival

Manly Council presents: Bike Life Festival celebrates all things cycling! This year it will mark the beginning of Bike Week with lots of fun events at Manly Lagoon Park, including a Family Ride, a Retro Ride, Cycle Expo, bike maintenance workshops, Artists with Easels, free entertainment plus much more.

Manly Arts Festival

Manly Council and Manly Art Gallery & Museum are proud to present a community based festival which highlights the diversity of arts practice in the Manly region. The two week program includes a wide variety of exciting presentations from visual art, music, theatre and dance performances, literary events and youth workshops.

Manly Jazz

Australia’s largest community based Jazz Festival takes place over the October long weekend. Presented by Manly Council, the festival features over 70 free performances on four outdoor stages from noon until sundown. The music continues into the evening with a choice of ticketed concerts at local venues. Manly Jazz attracts the finest Jazz performers both nationally and internationally.
